RETURNS/EXCHANGES/REFUNDS

Black is Our Gold is part of the Oildown Factory, LLC brand. All your sales receipts will show
Oildown Factory, LLC, as the seller.
All items purchased are final sales. Thus, we cannot offer these items returns, exchanges, or
refunds. Oildown Factory LLC will issue a refund to the original form of payment used on
the order if one of the following applies:
Oildown Factory LLC has cancelled the order.
One or more items sold out since your order was processed.
The item(s) proved damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Depending on your financial institution, the refund amount may take up to 15 business days to
post to your account.
I changed my mind. Can I cancel my order?
We create all items with love and on demand. For this reason, we can only cancel an order within
24 hours of it being processed. This means that if you place an order and change your mind within
the first 24 hours, you can cancel it. However, after this period, the order will be in active
processing and cannot be canceled.
We cannot cancel orders that are in active processing or have already shipped.
I RECEIVED A DEFECTIVE / WRONG PRODUCT
This was not intentional, and we apologize for the mix-up. We want to ensure you get the correct
item quickly! Feel free to email us at oildownfactory@gmail.com to notify us of the issue with your
order. Please include your order number, name, and email used on the order. Make sure to specify
the concern: the original product ordered and the actual product you received, including the
style/design, color, and size. Please attach a picture of the product(s) showing the mishap.
Example: showing the defect, the size, or the wrong item.
Rest assured, all wrong orders we send out will be promptly corrected to ensure your satisfaction.
COLOR DISCLAIMER
Due to variations in monitor settings, Oildown Factory LLC cannot guarantee exact product color
matches. Your computer monitor’s display settings, resolutions, etc., may affect the color you see.
We want you to be fully informed about this potential variation.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?
Due to products being made to order, orders will take 1-2 weeks to process and ship. If your
order takes more than four weeks to ship, you will be refunded 100% of your shipping cost. This
policy begins 24 hours after your order is placed and processed. This means that your order will
be processed and shipped within 24 hours of placing it, and the standard processing and
shipping time of 1-2 weeks will apply after this initial 24-hour period.
For International shipping, please allow an additional 7-21 business days.
Orders placed on weekends and holidays are processed on the next business day.
My order says delivered, but I have not received it. What should I do?
Shipping agencies such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc., are responsible for the package’s delivery. If you
cannot locate the package posted “in transit” or “delivered,” we recommend contacting your local
post office or shipping company.
Shipping Address Issues
Oildown Factory LLC WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE for any shipping address discrepancies, which
include lost, stolen, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide the correct information before submitting their order.
If the shipping or product information provided is incorrect or incorrectly entered at the time of
purchase, we cannot make any changes.
DELIVERY ISSUES
For all orders with delivery issues where the package is labeled delivered, and the customer didn’t
receive the package, the customer must file a claim with the shipping company. If the claim is
unsuccessful upon further review, we will try our best to help find a resolution.
Why is my order still in “Pre-shipment”?
Once your order’s label is printed, a tracking number is sent to your email, indicating the start of
the shipping process. Your tracking number will be updated as soon as USPS scans your order.
Please be patient, as it’s not uncommon for an order to remain in pre-shipment for multiple days.
Feel free to contact us only if your order has surpassed the estimated time for shipment.
PRICE CHANGES
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
The price at which your order was purchased and confirmed is final. Prices will not be retroactively
adjusted.
IF GRANTED A REFUND, WHERE WILL THE FUNDS GO?
Refunds are sent using the original form of payment. If you no longer have the original payment
method, you will need to contact your financial institution. Please note that depending on your
financial institution, the refund amount may take up to 15 business days to post to your account.
This standard processing time may vary depending on your bank’s policies.
